To create these prints, a block of linoleum is carved with a reversed version of the image. The surface of the block is inked before applying the design on paper. A Baren or a wooden spoon is used to rub the backside of the paper to transfer the ink to the paper. Then comes the magic of peeling of the paper to reveal the print.
