In honor of the Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, “Votes for Women” is hand stamped on a vintage Edward VII penny, as during the suffragette period in the UK. This coin was a part of social disobedience, stamped with the suffragette slogan and circulated as small change (similar to our Harriet Tubman $20). Law was changed in the UK in 1928, giving women the same voting rights as men. One of the original suffragette coins is in the British Museum. These are authentic, vintage coins, hand stamped in the UK, now crafted into wearable art and available in limited quantity.
The copper coin necklaces are $35 each, comes with an 18″-20″ metal chain.
The copper coin keychain comes with a vintage key, $35 each.
